Art History Students’ Association
The Art History Students’ Association is the home base for art history students and art lovers alike at the University of British Columbia. We host an array of social and professional events.
We are committed to supporting our student body academically and socially through various events and programming. Our members organize and execute the annual Art History Undergraduate Symposium, writing workshops, monthly salon series, emerge, gallery visits, and various other social and academic events.
Visual Art Students’ Association
The Visual Art Students’ Association is a departmental club at the University of British Columbia. While primarily directed towards visual art students at UBC, we welcome anyone interested in creating art and meeting like-minded artistic people to join us.
Undergraduate Journal of Art History and Visual Culture
The Undergraduate Journal of Art History and Visual Culture (UJAH) is a student-led journal published annually by AHVA at UBC. We seek undergraduate students from all disciplines to join our editorial team. The publication promotes undergraduate research, artwork, and writing in art history and visual culture.
The journal provides UBC’s undergraduates with a wider audience for their research and writing, encourages community between various art disciplines, and establishes a platform for students to gain experience in editing and publishing their academic work.
