The studio practice of Toronto-based artist David Armstrong involves the exploration of reproducibility, time, and entropy through an ongoing interest in print media.
David has exhibited nationally and internationally and has recently finished writing for, and co-editing, a special issue of the journal Visible Language titled “After the Grave: Language and Materiality in Contemporary Art”. He is currently head of the Print Media Area at York University.
This Friday he will give an illustrated lecture titled “And Now, Then Otherwise” on his print, book, and installation work from the last decade.
