Congratulations to AHVA MFA candidate Xan Shian. The recipient of the 2020 Audain Travel Award.
This $7,500 award, established in 2019, by the Audain Foundation, provides five full-time Bachelor of Fine Arts or Master of Fine Arts students in B.C. an opportunity to travel to view and study art.
Xan will be using the award to travel to Scotland to further her research on Scottish Gaelic, pagan and folkloric stories and practices, visiting the collections in the Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum & Arts Centre in Lochmaddy on the Isle of North Uist.
