The World of Li Xiongyi
Artist: Born in 1988 and now living in Beijing, the young Chinese artist Li Xiongyi is a rising star in contemporary Chinese art world. Being a kid with autism who never received any academic training in art, Li is naturally talented in oil painting. His works have deeply impressed many art professionals.
“What makes me feeling emotional is that Xiongyi greatly enjoys painting. When doing something for fun, it does not feel like hard work at all; it is more like playing. Therefore, while he is painting, he is having fun.”
