In May 2008, The Fall invites the Ecdysis crew into their gallery to build a month-long interactive installation ‘Apocalepsy’. With materials largely rescued from dumpsters, back-alleys, and forsaken places in our city, Ecdysis will transform the gallery into a disoriented, living breathing dream zone. Ecdysis member artists will
overhaul the gallery, infusing sculpture, painting, screenprint, assemblage, electroacoustic installation, scents, sound sensors, hidden mics, video projection, and lots of crazy junk- so that the very architecture of the room is lost in a sort of post-apocalyptic vortex.
On the night of may 9th, Come immerse yourself in the apocalepsy, trespass upon the landscape, rest amongst the wreckage, and remind yourself of why you’re alive.
This is a participant-driven event-bring your curiosity, dress in costume, and leave your expectations at
home.
