Planning Your Visit

We look forward to seeing you at the AHVA Gallery. Here is what we are doing to ensure the well-being of both Gallery staff and visitors.

Before you visit the gallery:

  • Please self-assess before visiting and stay home if you are not feeling well
  • To keep our visitor numbers aligned with physical distancing rules you may be asked to queue outside if the gallery is at capacity
  • No food or drink in the gallery please
  • We ask that you leave contact information to support contact tracing using the Book Your Visit link below, if you cannot submit this information  yourself the gallery assistant will log it on your behalf

What to expect:

  • Plexiglass shielding has been installed at the front desk
  • We will ask you to sanitize your hands when you enter the building
  • We will ask you to wear a mask inside the gallery, in accordance with UBC’s COVID safety policy
  • We will ask you to keep your coat and bag with you during your visit
  • Please follow the directions of Gallery staff; they will point out how to maintain a two-metre distance from those outside your own party. We ask that children stay with an adult during their visit
  • Washrooms are open to one person at a time with the exception of those with children or needing assistance
  • The Gallery will be closed for short cleaning periods between visits, where required.

Tuesday to Friday, 12–4 p.m.

The AHVA Gallery is located in room 1001 of the Audain Art Centre at 6398 University Boulevard, University of British Columbia, Vancouver.
