AHVA provides studios, labs, classrooms, offices, and social spaces throughout six buildings on the Point Grey campus. AHVA facilities support teaching, research, and art practice within its undergraduate and graduate programs.

The department also liaises with affiliated units, such as the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, the Museum of Anthropology, and the Music, Art, and Architecture Library (inside the Irving K. Barber Learning Center), to create new learning and research opportunities for students and faculty members in our programs.
