Carolyn Stockbridge (b. UK) is known as an artist with painting and drawing at the forefront of her practice. She attended the University of British Columbia (MFA), the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design (BFA), Otis College of Art & Design (painting/film/critical theory) and the Art Students League of New York (painting/drawing). Stockbridge has exhibited since the early 1990s and has composed music scores for political documentary, experimental film & video and site specific installation (CICA Museum, Berlin Film Festival, MAMRio, Channel 4-UK, Access Gallery, Belkin Gallery, Atlantic Gallery, NYU East Galleries, DCA, Sulkin Secant Gallery, Grunt Gallery, Climate Gallery, Video Inn, Douglas Udell Gallery, Elliott Louis Gallery).
