Carolyn Stockbridge

Carolyn Stockbridge was born in the UK and lives and works in Vancouver. Stockbridge attended the University of British Columbia (MFA), the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design (BFA) Otis College of Art & Design (painting/film/critical theory) and the Art Students League of New York (painting/drawing). She is known as an artist with painting and drawing at the forefront of her practice. Stockbridge has exhibited since the early 1990s beginning in NYC and has composed music scores for political documentary, experimental film & video (Berlin Film Festival, Museum of Modern Art, MAM Rio, Channel 4-UK, Access Gallery, Belkin Gallery, Atlantic Gallery, NYU East Galleries, DCA, Sulkin Secant Gallery, Grunt Gallery, Climate Gallery, Video Inn, Douglas Udell Gallery, Elliott Louis Gallery).
