William Wood is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory at The University of British Columbia. In his teaching and publishing he focuses on contemporary art, aesthetics and cultural criticism, as well as working in curatorial studies. Since the mid-1980s, Wood has published widely on art in Vancouver, Canada and elsewhere, including essays on work by Roy Arden, Stan Douglas, Mike Kelley, Mark Lewis, John Miller, N.E. Thing Co., Michael Euyung Oh, Ron Terada and Ian Wallace.
