Christine Goettler presents “Rubens’ ‘Ecce Homo’ and his ‘Derision of Silenus’: Classical Antiquity and the Ostentation of Art.”

Dr Goettler comes to us from the Division of Art History, University of Washington, where she is a specialist in Early Modern art in the north, with a focus on early seventeenth-century Flanders and the activities of Netherlandish artists in Italy.
