BC Binning Studios

Facilities at BC Binning Studios include a photo studio with lighting systems, two black and white darkrooms, a black and white film processing area, a digital production room, a digital lab, and a print lab.

Students use the facilities for work sessions and critiques during class time, as well. In addition, students are strongly encouraged to use the facilities during monitored periods or by reservation on evenings and weekends for individual and group projects.

With access to darkrooms, studios, digital facilities, film and digital cameras, students have the opportunity to work in analogue and digital technologies. They are encouraged to combine both in their image production. In addition, students have the space to discover and experiment with the medium’s many possibilities, combining theoretical and historical perspectives to their practice.
